Jim & I first saw this first clip on Jimmy Kimmel show a few weeks ago. Just a little background, Sarah Silverman is a comedian and she & Kimmel have been dating for several years now. As a joke to Kimmel, she did this video with Matt Damon below....
"I'M FUCKING MATT DAMON"

My favorite colors
Black had always been my favorite color and most of my things are black. From time to time I do favor other colors though black remains my basic color.
From my early childhood to about my early grade school years I loved pink. Everything I owned had to have pink in it. I think every girl loves pink.
Going into high school.. The first couple of year I still loved pink. Lucky for me coz pink was the "it" color at that time that even the guys were also wearing pink..he he he. Into my 3rd year in high school I started wearing black too. I didn't really enjoy my time in high school so I think I wore a lot of black to match my mood then.
After high school and while I was in Holland, tulips became my favorite flower (and still is to this day) especially the yellow ones. So everything I have at that time was black with splashes of yellow or "orangy". Even then, black remains my color of choice.
Back to Malaysia after my little stint in Holland, I went to community college in Kuantan. I really enjoyed my time there so I wore more colorful stuff though black still remained my favorite color.
Ever since I live here in the US, my colors have been black and purple. Everything is either black or purple or a combination of both. Purple pen, purple ruler, purple & black calculator etc. I've had purple and/or black stuff for so long that I figure I'll most likely stick to those colors now. Well, I made a discovery today...
This morning as I was getting ready for work, I was in our closet trying to decide what I want to wear when I realized that my "it" color now is red. I just noticed that lots of my clothes are a variation of the color red. I thought it was rather interesting since I never really consciously buy anything red. Of course, black still make an appearance in most of my stuff.
As you notice, my choice of colors tend to reflex my "moods" so I am wondering what red means....

9 Words Women Use
A good friend of mine emailed me this today. In the current mood that I am in right now, I thought it would be appropriate if I pass this along....
1. Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
2. Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.
3. Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with "nothing" usually end in "fine".
4. Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Dont' Do It!
5. Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonder why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing).
6. That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.
7. Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just say you're welcome. This is true, unless she says "Thanks a lot" - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thank you at all. DO NOT say "you're welcome" ... that will bring on a "whatever".
8. Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying ____ YOU!
9. Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking "What's wrong?". For the woman's response refer to #3.

The Last King of Scotland
Jim & I finally saw this movie last night. It's about Idi Amin, the deposed dictator of Uganda. The movie was very good. It starred Forest Whitaker and James McAvoy.
Forest Whitaker played Idi Amin and James McAvoy was his personal physician. Although Idi Amin was a true person, the character of Dr Nicholas Garrigan (McAvoy) was fictional. The movie was seen thru the "eyes" of Dr Garrigan. Good movie, watch it if you can.

Ghost Rider
I wasn't feeling so great when I went to bed last night. I think I'm catching whatever that is being spread around the office. Needless to say, I had a restless night.
I had borrowed this DVD from one of my colleage last week and haven't had a chance to watch. So, at about 3am this morning and after tossing and turning in bed, I decided to watch it with my boy Sammy.
The movie was okay. Nicholas Cage plays the character Johnny Blaze who during the day is a stunt cyclist and at night is the Ghost Rider. It is based on a Marvel Comic character. There are a few famous actors in the movie; Peter Fonda, Wes Bentley, Sam Elliot & Eva Mendes.
At this point, I am not sure if I like the movie or not. Mainly, due to the fact that I was hacking up a storm while watching the movie that I didn't really concentrate on what was going on. So, you guys decide on your own okay.
I am off to bed to sleep off this pounding headache...bye

Super Bowl XLII
This year The Super Bowl is being held at the University of Phoenix Stadium here in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday, February 3 between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants.
Who are Jim & I rooting for?... Well, we don't really care who wins since our team is the Chicago Bears (they lost against the Indiana Colts in last year's SuperBowl). Though we are not picking side, I would like to see the Giants win. Everyone is saying that the Patriots are going to win since they went 16-0 during the regular season. And of course, Tom Brady had been in 3 SuperBowls and won all 3. I just like to root for the underdog. Furthermore, the Giants quarterback is Eli Manning who is the younger brother to Peyton Manning who plays for the Colts and won the SuperBowl last year.
We are going over to my in-law's house on Sunday to watch the game as well as celebrate Jim & my father-in-law's birthdays. Of course with the SuperBowl being here, Phoenix and its surrounding area is going to be extra busy and congested this weekend. Luckily, we live on the east side so it won't be as bad as on the west side.
Anyways, what I look forward to most are the ads and not the games...he he he
Happy Birthday Jim!!
