Qimy,

The movies are good but the books are even better...

Hari ni kat Tempe is the world premier for Wolverine. Pagi tadi about 600 people waiting in line so Hugh Jackman called Paradise Bakery and bought everyone breakfast...Oh how I love that man ;-)

Wow! Baiknya Hugh Jackman. I thought he was gorgeous in X Men but less so in Van Helsing somehow..
Anyway, the latest Harry Potter flick seems exciting - I hope it really is. Must say I wasn't very happy with Order of the Phoenix...

Well, Order of the Phoenix book was kinda long so it's hard to put lots of things in a 2 hour movie. I am glad that they are making the Deathly Hallows into 2 movies. One more month to go before the Half Blood Prince!!!! I am definitely dragging Jim to see that at the movies!

It true that the book was kinda long but still, I felt that the movie was somewhat sloppy as compared to the previous ones and lacked attention to detail (Harry flying back to school minus trunk and more importantly, minus Hedwig??). The one thing I liked about the movie was Sirius's character - stylish! So far, my fav is Prisoner of Azkaban.

Hemm, I know in the book, Tonks strapped Harry's trunk & Hedwig's cage to her broomstick. But I guess it would look a lot better for that scene where Tonks & Harry race each other along the Thames without the trunk & cage dangling from her broomstick.

Also, if you remember, in the Half Blood Prince book when Dumbledore came to pick Harry up from his uncle's, Dumbledore magicked Harry's trunk & cage to the Burrows before going to Slughorn's house. I know Dumbledore is a powerful wizard but I am sure Moody or Shacklebolt could have done the same to Harry's trunk & cage. ;-)
